Why aren't stage clear rewards reset?

Events repeat after months and months. It's a little disheartening to not be able to earn the rewards again. Especially in the Soultaker event. I messed up and didnt keep every weapon so I was happy to get a chance to do so, only I can't because it's marked as cleared. Most of the event rewards are gold anyway. But it would just be nice to have the feeling of reclearing an event.
