Can Trade or Industrial Unions advocate for the rights of autistic workers?

What can trade unions (or industrial unions) do for Autistic workers? When a boss claims an accommodation is unreasonable, will a union negotiate on behalf of an Autistic worker? If a businessman decides autistic workers are too inefficient, and they need to go, will union reps step in? Would I be better served by a job coach? Would I be better served by a disability rights organization?
