Hey everyone.
So I graduated back in September 2021 with a Masters Degree in Computer Games Development and I also have a HND diploma in Computer Science. I took a few months off after finishing University to sort out my CV, Cover Letter and generally resting before I started job hunting in December 2021.
I have applied for around 25-30 jobs I believe now and signed up for some recruiting agencies all related to Computer hardware and Games Development but so far I haven’t had any success getting an interview with anyone.
Honestly I’m getting pretty depressed not being able to find anything I want and not have any income to do anything in my life, I honestly get pretty upset on some days.
So my question is has it got to the point that I’m just going to have to look for a minimum wage jobs to get work experience even though I hate the idea of stacking shelves for a living.
It is starting to feel like my lack of work experience and being 25 is really hurting my chance at jobs and acting like a red flag to employers. I’m just kind of concerned that ill get stuck working a minimum wage job and unable to progress into a line of work I want to do with better pay and career prospects.
Thanks for any advice you can offer.
