I started a job in June as part of my placement year, and I don't like it. I'm bored, it's so boring, I don't care for the work I do at all. It's not what I thought it was, I have also moved to a quiet town with nothing to do. I have a friend at work but she lives 45 mins away and commutes in so I don't have anyone to do anything with on the weekend. One of the other placements students quit last week, and I'm jealous. I hate it, I'm bored, I'm not learning anything I will take with me into a future role. I don't know what to do. Does anyone have any advice? Or can relate? My boss isn't the nicest either, she is quite cold and I can't lie I'm scared of her.
