Hi! So, I'll try to explain this in a nutshell, all in all, my flatmates are all pretty chill, we all get along just fine and haven't had any major hiccups. However, recently me and 4 other of my flatmates (there's 6 in total) have been getting more annoyed at the other flatmate, let's call him Pete for always negatively talking about our food, it seems like such a petty thing to get annoyed about, but every meal it's basically Pete just analysing what we're making and looking over our shoulders and going 'Hmmmmm' or 'Interesting, you know that you shouldn't be doing it like that' or 'Stop putting (insert food here) on whatever. He gets very argumentative about it. We've told him to stop multiple times but he carries on. It's especially annoying when Pete himself, does not cook his food and goes home every weekend to have his parents pre cook his food for him, so he can just heat it in the microwave. I guess I don't really know what I want on this post, I think more than anything I just want to rant 😂. Besides Pete, uni is going well and I'm enjoying the experience as a whole! I feel like food time should be my time though, I don't want someone hovering over my shoulder whilst I'm tryna make some spaghetti and meatballs!
Edit: After seeing a lot of the comments, I think I'm gonna bring my flat together and sit him down and try to talk it through again. I appreciate everyone's input on this and I'll definitely update you all on how it goes. My roomates already give him shit for having mummy and daddy cook for him, I just feel bad ganging up on a single person. Tonight is Pizza night. If he complains then I'll do a backflip whilst screaming frantically, i shall tell you all the results.
