I live in a residential area with no sidewalks, parks, HOA, or the like. There is a vacant lot that is overgrown with trees and bushes to the point where you can’t physically walk through it. My dog likes to walk up into the trees and poop. I’ve been doing this here and there is not always that spot but he does frequent it.
The resident across the street began yelling for me to pick it up. I refused, as it is literally in the trees and not possible to be stepped on. I know FL has some laws against this but like the fine is like $25. He threatened that he had video evidence of me doing it.
I believe he is upset because he likes to park a van on that lot right off the street. Idk why, but I’m guessing that’s literally his whole problem with my dog also frequenting the trees? It’s living rent free in my head that he is just continuously parking on someone else’s property but threatening me because my dog sometimes poops in the trees? If anyone’s got suggestions on how to respond accordingly please let me know
