ULPT Request: How to respond to my neighbor's truck loud engine ignition at 6 AM every morning including weekend/Holidays?

Post Body

US/Midwest,

I have neighbor who's working diligently pretty much 24/7/365. It appears that he runs his own tree cutting business and he usually goes to work at 5:30 to 6 AM and comes back at 7 PM.

The problem is his truck Ram Truck (it is work vehicle) has loud engine ignition and constant engine sound. Apparently, the car has been tuned for loud engine with engine muffler off.

We live in couldesac, connected to different estate exit, and his unit is located in the deepest spot in the alley (I specifically picked my current unit, assuming that there is less traffic and it was all my fault that I possibly I couldnt come to the house at 5 30 AM in the morning just to see if there is weird neighboor with loud engine), so basically he wakes up everyone in the morning as he drives out of the road.

Based on my time here (3 years now), he pretty much works every day except Christmas (yes, for whatever reason he works on Thanksgiving/New Years).

How can I approach this creatively? Just trying to get some brainstorm and see what I can do. I havent really talked to him, and I dont want to, if I dont have to (and probably, how else I can persuade him to put muffler back on?) .

Thank you in advance.
