So, interesting things came out of a FOI requests recently regarding iPlayer:

It turns out, by their own admission, their process for catching people watching iPlayer illegally is literally nothing more than corroborating the email address they have on file for someone at your property against the email addresses of people who've used iPlayer.

That was probably obvious to a lot of people, but hearing the confirmation that no sophisticated tracking measures are used is pretty much the final nail in the coffin for any lingering anxieties.
