ULPT: RV parks like an asshole

Post Body

Hey folks,

I live on a street with limited parking that is not permitted. About 3 months ago, this run-down RV showed up and began parking on our street. I did not care at first as I used to pay for parking in my building, but I’ve fallen on rough times financially as of late and needed to cut any excess out so I began parking on the street. All was fine until the past month or so.

Usually, the RV takes up two spots. However, it has started parking in a way where they leave a bunch of space before the curb but too little that another vehicle can fit there. They pretty much have made it so that a spot where three cars could park or where the RV and 1 car could park is now entirely taken up by the RV alone.

While there is parking on surrounding streets, I used to never have any issues finding parking at any time on my street. I work in an industry with constantly changing odd hours and I have a bunch of expensive equipment I use that has to come inside with me for safety, so having a spot on my street is very nice so I can unload and load my stuff easy. Until the RV showed up, this was never an issue.

I have no clue who the owner of the RV is. I know it is no one in my apartment building because I have asked around. I honestly don’t know what to do. I’ve left notes on the RV pleading for them to park better but nothing has changed.

Is there anything I can do to fuck with this RV to force the owner to move or any legal way I can have it moved?

I live in Los Angeles and I do not know if someone is living inside. Thank you for your time.
