So a few months ago I had a plumbing problem. I got a plumber from Angi's List. He came to the house and evaluated the problem and told me it was bigger then anticipated and he's have to charge me more. Like an idiot I trusted and believed him since Angi handymen are supposed to be vetted. So I paid him and he made the repairs.

A couple of months later the problem came back. I called him and texted for a while but he eventually stopped replying and answering my calls. So, I called Angi and they said my guarantee period was over and there was nothing they could do but they did end up sending me someone else and covered the $$ of the original quote we had with the fist plumber.

I filed a complaint with Angi and tried to find that plumber on Yelp or something so I could write a bad review, but he's nowhere to be found. No socials, no website, not listed with BBB. Even the address on his invoice was fake. I did pay by check so I have an image of the check and know where they deposited it.

What can I do to get back at them? Getting my money back would be great but I know that's impossible so I want to do something to hurt their business.
