Delayed UI filing?
Post Body

Hello,

My employment will end 9/3/2024 due to company closure. I'm planning to take some time off working and learn a foreign language outside of the US.

My understanding is that I won't be able to legally file for UI while out of the country. Once I'm back in the country, am I still able to file?

I read the WA eligibility requirements and definition of base years, and it seems like I can technically file after I return from out of the country as long as I file before the end of Q3 2025 since that would set my base year to be Q2 2024 to Q1 2025, where my pay in Q2/3 2024 would qualify me for the maximum $1,069 weekly benefit?
