Greetings,
In the middle of Feb 2024 I was laid off by my employer. Within a day I filed online for benefits. I was immediately marked as 'ineligible' because my employer never reported my wages to the State of WA.
Background:
I have been a resident of WA for the last 20 years.
I have successfully filed for benefits in the past.
My former employer is based in California.
I have all of the paystubs from the time I was employed with this employer.
After filing for benefits and being told I was ineligible I filed all of my earnings on the ESD site, along with the details of my former employer.
Like others, I have attempted calling to talk to someone to only be told all lines are busy and to call back later.
I have filed my weekly claim every week since the beginning on time.
To date I have received only one letter for ESD, and that was at the beginning of the process to tell me what my rights are.
Anyone have any thoughts or pointers? I would be grateful for any help in regard to this.
