Back in feb when paperwork supporting whether we were actually eligible to receive pua back when was due, I got a 30 day extension Bc I really don’t have anything great to submit mine was the ‘daycare closed’ situation but it was my parents who closed it and since then, I cut them off (my mom is in a borderline psychosis and won’t get help and her partner co-signs the bs).
Anyway, as u can probably see, along with having a 2yo, I have enough fires going that I didn’t keep this one top of mind. And now I just realized that I FORGOT TO SUBMIT MY PAPERWORK AT ALL! Omg! I still don’t have anything to submit and I guarantee my parents wouldn’t be helpful even if I did ask them Bc they’re so angry I won’t have anything to do with them.
I haven’t heard anything from the edd about any of this. Should I just let it go until I do? I know it sounds like a stupid idea and I should probably just submit something now and apologize for being late but we’re moving across the country in a week so my attention is there and again, I just do not know what to submit and probably need to talk to the edd about it and want to at least do the move before I try getting ahold of them. My fear is hearing I’m in trouble and having that on my shoulders while trying to do this move as a single mom. I realize that if I’m in trouble it shouldn’t really matter if I know or not but I’m awfully good at compartmentalizing rn so for me, it’s going to be a lot more stress to know.
Will anyone here co-sign my bs or at least let me know how bad this may already be for me? I know btw that I was eligible and should have received it and that the amount I received per week was correct other than during a two month period early for which they paid me that I wasn’t eligible for but also didn’t pay me for two months at the same time that I was eligible to be paid. Mine was a nightmare case and I was four months late getting my first check and then waited another three months extra between the end of one period and beginning of an extension so since I couldnt get through to them via phone then there was no way I was going to say anything and risk stopping my payments; this hasn’t yet come up but if it does I know I’m reasonably covered Bc it makes sense I wouldn’t have caught it one, and again, it’s the same amount either way. Oh, and all my submissions were correct so this isn’t something I did. Just mentioning this other part to explain that there’s something that could come up additionally to complicate things and I’d guess the further I get overdue the more likely it is to get really messy.
