[Georgia] How long after initial application for a determination?

Post Body

Last year in May my hours were cut for a few weeks so i filed a claim but never actually was paid out anything from it. My company ended up getting money from the PPP so they gave us back pay and So i stopped filing and just didn't do anything with it after that.

2 weeks ago I was let go due to "company restructuring" and filed for unemployment. I have submitted the weekly claims for the last 2 weeks but still have not received an initial determination. On my status it shows my BYE as being in may of this year and I'm assuming that is because of the week i filed last year (but never received anything from). Is it normal to wait 2 weeks for the initial determination? I live alone and have no support or any other source of income so any advice is much appreciated.
