To those who have yet to receive any funds/backpay for PUA/PEUC from either last year or this year there is still hope! I lost hope myself recently being in the same boat many of you are, haven't received a penny since December 26th, 2020. I pretty much gave up, lost phone service and became so behind on all my bills I was about to run out of food. I was flagged from re-applying in January, tried calling every number I was given and could never reach someone. Yesterday I gave emailing a couple of my local representatives a try in addition to a Ronnie West and Ellen Marie who work at the VEC. Only received a automated message from one, didn't think much of it.
Early this morning however, I received a call to the number I left attached to the emails, from none other than a deputy! She was calm, collective and very informative and worked with me to solve my issue, it was something so small too! Apparently the system is super behind, GOV2GO isn't correctly updated, but they are trying to reach out and fix all of the remaining flagged people now and are releasing funds. I got my issue solved, my gov2go will update this weekend and I should receive full backpay next week! Hang in there people, they're trying to correct their mistakes. Try emailing your local rep, Ronnie West and this Ellen Marie if you'd like to speed things up a bit. I will leave their emails below for anyone that needs. But do not lose hope it's indeed coming! I wish you all the best of luck, God bless!
