PUA Colorado said to “Apply for Standard UI Benefits”

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is getting along ok during this horrible time.

Quick question. If you look on the main page of Colorado unemployment it was updated on 1/28/21 that PUA claims are supposed to do the following, “Most claimants will need to apply for standard UI benefits in order to have the option to reopen your PUA or PEUC claim. Federal guidelines require this step to confirm that PUA and PEUC recipients are either not eligible for or have exhausted any regular state unemployment benefits before receiving benefits under the federal programs. If you see the “Apply for Standard UI Benefits” option within MyUI , please complete the application and allow for our system to process your application overnight before logging back in to reopen your PUA or PEUC claim.”

I saw the link on the very bottom of my page when I signed in so I filled it out. Now my whole balance has been deleted along with the information from my initial PUA.

It also now states my program type as “Standard UI” and it states it as “Ineligible”. I am now freaking out that they kicked me off PUA and I won’t be able to get my back pay after doing what they said to do...

Any insight to ease my craziness would be greatly appreciated!

THANK YOU!!!
