I walked out of my job a few weeks ago because I was being harassed and the environment was just out of control. I sent an resignation email to my boss that day before 5pm. I spoke to my boss about it once, and I also have a dated list of incidents. I applied for unemployment and submitted that list as well as the termination letter I received from the company in response to my resignation letter. My question is, does the DOL decide if I get unemployment benefits based on my claims or do I have to do a hearing w the former employer?
