[TEXAS] Unemployment for self quarantine denied

Post Body

So here in TX, TWC denied me unemployment after telling them I am on self quarantine per my doctor’s advice since I am high risk. TWC said the denial was because my doctor has not cleared me to work, so I am “physically unable” to work.

I appealed and have asked my state rep to get involved since it’s still impossible to reach someone at TWC.

Self quarantining under doctor’s advice would qualify for UI or PUA, right? Just wanting to know what my chances are.

Thanks in advance.
