For anyone who is wondering if they will actually get their backpay I can confirm that Florida is processing and issuing weeks to claim after calling to modify claim dates. I called about 2 1/2 to 3.weeks ago to request modification of the date of my claim and advised several of my associates who are currently receiving unemployment to also call the same day and after logging in to UI Connect to see when we could claim our weeks again and to our surprise there was a long list of backdated weeks available to claim. So they are processing those phone calls and rolling out payments in about a little over 2 weeks. I highly suggest to anyone who hasn't called to modify the date of their claim due to technical errors to do so because it was simple and isn't just another waiting game like some of the other steps you have to do to get into the system and start receiving your benefits.
