Post Body

So my dad had a stroke earlier in the week and was in the hospital for a couple days before being sent home for hospices care. My mom was working part time due to the pandemic, but may have worked her last day and take care of him.

Now, I noticed when I use to do my unemployment that there is a taking care of a family member under one of the reasons for being unemployed. Can my mom get unemployment if she needs to take care of my dad? We have the social workers and nurses and paperwork needed but how can she go about the process? Has anybody gone through this situation or similar? Any help would be appreciated, thank!
