As the title suggests, I’m in a weird situation. I work for a sports team and do not make that much, (Below $40k annual salary), but that takes into account that I’m supposed to be housed and fed 24/7. With Covid happening, my living and financial situations have completely changed. I make the same amount but am now staying back in SoCal where I’m forced to spend the paychecks just to eat and stay afloat.
My question is: Since my financial circumstances have changed and I’m not longer being provided food/housing, am I able to get some sort of assistance or partial unemployment? Currently making half of what people on maxed out unemployment are making.
