I filed a new claim last month, I got EDD last year, Funds exhausted in December 2019. I got an approval letter end of April. However, when I called EDD hotline yesterday, the EDD agent said I am not qualified for a few reasons: I didn’t work from April 2018 to April 2019. Didn’t earn $1300 in a quarter. Didn’t have a job and didn’t get paid $2300 in highest quarter. WTH.
A couple people in January from local office told me EDD goes by the highest amount earned within the last 18 months and I should be qualified again for EDD. I have been using my savings and already a lot on bills and rent.
Does anyone know the criteria for my situation and insight on this?
