[Illinois] Waiting Period?

Post Body

Hello, I am hoping someone here might know the answer since I cannot get through to the unemployment office. On April 1st I was furloughed from my job and on April 2nd I applied for unemployment. Using the teleservice number I know that my application is approved and it says my first certification is April 21st. What I am confused about is that certification will be for that week and the prior week, but it is not having my certify for the week starting April 6th. It seems like it is applying the one week waiting period which I thought was supposed to be waived due to COVID. I still have not received any type of mail from IDES. Is anyone else having the same issue?
