[GEORGIA] Are self the-employed in Georgia (and most states?) not eligible for UI? Should I not bother applying?

Post Body

My small ecommerce business was de-platformed last summer and my income gradually dropped to nothing by October 2023.

After researching the Reddit, it seems that people who were self-employed are not eligible for UI... Is this correct?

I came across one comment that suggested that all self-employed will be denied benefits if they apply but when they are denied, they can and should appeal the denial...? Has anyone known that to be true?

If any self employed have experience applying for UI, please let me know (no matter if you were denied or granted UI). Furthermore, if it is possible to apply for UI as self-employed, what documents will they need to verify my income?

Thank you guys for being so helpful. :)
