So this University made me take (2 )zoom interviews and (1) in person ( all different days). The one in person was the hole day(8am-3pm) including: a team building presentation for 20 people between present and zoom ,(3) individual meeting interviews with different stakeholders about the position and the plans for it, campus tour and a brainstorm meeting with the direct supervisor for action plan and management cost in the group. Basically a full work day. Before leaving that day the "boss" made it clear to allow them a week to finish the semester and then move foward with the hiring. To what I agreed. Then 2 weeks and 2 emails of apologies in the delay. For today I received an email:
"Thank you for participating in the process we will move with other candidates. Goodluck in your endeavor."
Just that. No explanation, or feedback.
Someone else has gone trough this? Why the extra mile for nothing? Is this a common thing? Whats the logic behind this?
Thanks in advance.
