I was fired 3 weeks ago from my employer for āJob Code Integrity Policy Violationsā meaning I would use certain job codes to do specific things in my warehouse. A few times our devises we use loose signal and it take 5-7 minutes to restart. So every minute counted against me even tho they knew there was a problem. The reason on the paper I was fired was said that I broke policy from a 2004 handbook when Iāve never seen it Iāve only received the 2021 version and thereās nothing about job codes only about clock in and clock out times and time card activity. I applied for unemployment but since I broke ācompany policyā Texas doesnāt usually approve unemployment. I will appeal tho. A ex co worker was fired for the same issue but being in the break room for 45 minutes while on a āworking codeā and was denied unemployment but appealed an then got approved because the reason he was fired was not specifically in the handbook. So what should I do any advice? I was fired with no warnings no verbal or written warnings either and when I was suspended prior to termination they didnāt want to give me any specifics as to why I was being investigated. Then ultimately fired. Any help would be great thank you
