[TEXAS] Got hired in the middle of my two weeks. Do I request my waiting week?

I am really confused on how to do this. I looked on the websites and still not sure.
My filing day to request payment is this Sunday.
I started my new job this past Monday.
So I have one week where I didn't work and one week where I did work.
I am not sure if I should request payment as usual or if I should request my waiting week. I need to figure this out because I think my first check will be partial (this week is payday at work).
