Feeling uneasy you step onto the platform. Machinery starts to hum and whir, flickering lights, and a mess of ones and zeros race down the screen in fast succession. As the machine does it’s work you start to feel a slight tingling sensation work its way through your body. It feels strange, even stings a little all over. Even more so, it feels as if some one is watching you, but not you as in your body, but as if they were looking at your soul. as fast as sensation came, it left with a ding of computer equipment startling you.

as you stand there, eyes still focused on the now lifeless screen you feel a sharp chill pierce your being. The startling revelation of the machine information fills you with intense and searing grief. As your emotions start to surge from the pit of your stomach you can feel the heat well in your face, and the sting of tears swelling in your eyes. Quickly clutching at your chest, your legs give way bringing you to your knees with gasping sobs. As you sob in the middle of the platform your mind begins to race, quick to over think, and give way to irrational panic as grief and sorrow take hold of you. What does it mean? Am I broken? Can it be fixed? How long has it been like this? When did it happen? How did it happen? As the panic furthers, your sobs become more rapid and labored. Then it happens. You hear a disturbing cackling laugh from behind, and three cold mocking words “You, stupid idiot” then you feel a quick a sharp pain and a warm trickling sensation. Then nothing.
