No. there were no AUs either. So No. “Ink and Error” didn’t create the universe or something.

Long Ago...

There were Seven Entities that created the Universe. One for Each Soul... These Entities Sacrificed themselves to create the Undertale Universe we all know. The Sacrifice was that they were turned into Souls.... however these Souls are different from regular human souls... they are more Powerful than a regular Human Soul... and Also Unlike regular human souls, they had Specific Powers Dedicated to their Trait.

Bravery Has Life Manipulation

Justice has Mind Control

Patience has Space Travel (In b4 Yukari Jokes)

Integrity has Reality Manipulation

Perseverance has Super Strength

And Kindness has Time Manipulation

However.... Determination was Different.... The Soul Of Determination has fragments of the other 6 Souls’ Powers. Not only that, but instead of being turned into a soul like the rest, This Entity keeps reincarnating into new bodies every time the vessel dies (and there’s no reset). (Basically... Frisk is the current incarnation for the Determination Soul.)

The other 6 souls are out there throughout the Universe. Nobody knows where they are or if they even Exist.

And that’s the story of how I think The Canon Undertale Universe Came to be. I must be forgetting something.... oh right!

The Annoying Dog (AKA Toby) was the Fusion of all of the Entities, who split apart into said seven entities to create the Universe. Then The Annoying Dog came back with the Powers of Sleeping... legends say that he is actually Seeking out The Souls of the Entities using the Legendary Artifact to become the most Powerful Being in the Undertale Multiverse! Probably Only so he can sleep some more above the world beyond.

Deltarune, however, is a different story...

Deltarune’s Universe was created when the Barrier was Created. When the Determination Soul incarnation of the Human vs Monster War used the powers of the Determination Soul to Create the Barrier (hence why you need 7 human souls to break the barrier), Another, minor universe was created. Deltarune. A Universe where the Monsters are on the surface and living in harmony with the Humans. Either that or the Monsters actually Won the war. (Hence why Kris is the only human there, actually being a Different Incarnation of the Determination Soul.)
