Spoilers for the plot of Run Lola Run follow. I'm not going to put them all in spoiler text. You have been warned.
If you haven't seen Run Lola Run, it's a pretty good German Thriller movie. The basic premise is that Lola and her boyfriend Manni are about to commit armed robbery to pay back Manni's boss. I'm not going to go into the whole plot, but basically the movie is broken up into three runs. In each run, Lola acts slightly differently, causing events to play out in a completely different way. The most interesting thing is that all three runs occupy the same time, in alternate world lines of sorts. Lola actually causes the runs herself by resetting the world. At the end of the first run, Lola is fatally shot by officers, but refuses to die, instead resetting the world to the phone call that started the run. At the end of the second run, Manni is dying, so the world is reset to the phone call again, and at the end of the third run the two get a happy ending. The though has likely occurred to someone else, but I just saw the similarities between Lola's resetting and the SAVE/LOAD/RESET used by some of the characters in Undertale.
TL;DR: Lola from Run Lola Run resets the world when things don't go well, similar to the characters in Undertale.
