Welcome to one of UnderMine's largest updates, 0.5.0 The Supply Crate Update! A female peasant avatar has been a long requested feature and she finally makes her debut. On top of this, there are over 60 new items being added across the relic, potion, blessing, and curse pools. Find out what wacky new combos they create! We hope you enjoy this latest update, and look forward to more in the future.
Features:
- Introducing a brand new avatar: the female peasant. More than just a sprite swap, the female peasant has a new portrait, new sounds, new names, all custom animations, and is occasionally referred to differently by NPCs.
- Black Rabbit will now buy relics from you in her shop. Got a relic that isn’t doing it for you? Need some spare gold? This is the option for you.
- A mysterious new altar appears. It is guaranteed to appear somewhere between Goldmine 1 and Cavern 4, but what does it do?
- Brand new, custom, boss music tracks for Selt, Mortar, Noori, and Ponzu
- Many new NPC dialogs have been added for various game states and Beltrame rewards the peasant with the Apprentice’s Tincture recipe after helping her in the mines.
- New encounters in all zones

Bug Fixes:
- Minecart tracks should no longer overlap other objects
- Fixed a bug causing Talismans to auto-pickup
- The zone layout engine now tries 11x harder to create a valid layout
- Fixed an issue with bats as a background decoration
- Items should no longer get stuck in the shop hut
- Electric water should now render over reflections
- Corrected some issues related to removing lots of curses at the same time
- Fixed an issue where doors would occasionally remain closed
- Fixed a very rare issue where the Rockpile Mimic could get stuck in boulder form
- Golden food can again be picked up when at full health
- Lurkers should no longer damage themselves (for real this time)
- Gargoyles will now properly fall into pits if they transform on top of one
- It is now possible for Black Guards to fall into pits
- Fixed an issue where the discover and drop requirements for Ghostly Ichor were reversed
- Fixed an issue where Aphotic Charm’s status effect was not removed when the relic was removed
- Fixed several spawning issues in several encounters
- Props spawned by Chest in a Bottle, Transmut3 in a Bottle, and now Altar in a Bottle now ignore the room grid, giving them more valid locations but with possible overlap. This should prevent these items from spawning in the center of certain cramped rooms
- Can no longer trigger Bathcat and Toadvine dialog while also unlocking the prisoner cell in the Dungeon encounter. Similarly, you can no longer one-shot them during this encounter with terrible, terrible damage
- Fixed an issue where Churchbell shields could stick around after death
- Shop items should now properly reroll into other shop items rather than use the generic table
- Random shop sales are back in action
- Arrow traps can no longer spawn in the corners of Goldmine rooms
- Fixed some issues that allow wandering dogs to get in your way while talking or crafting
- Added some missing Chinese glyphs to the font table
- Fixed an issue causing skeleton traps to sometimes spawn 2 skeletons
- The Supermarket Sweep achievement now correctly accounts for Simple Chest
- Fixed an issue that would grant the Careful Planning achievement from transmuting a single relic
Balance Changes:
- Transmutagen bombs have been upgraded to legendary and now only appear in Sho’guul’s Lair
- Lowered the shop cost of Bramble Vest
- Increased the shop cost of Float Boots
- Holy Guacamole is now a rare relic and is no longer sold in the shop
- Large Ember now scales faster using bomb damage
- Lowered Ponzu’s hit points
- Clover now correctly scales throughout all zones, not just the Goldmine
- Rainbow Kernels are no longer available in the shop
- Metamorphim potion now allows the player to choose the relic being transmuted
- Metamorphim is now rare and has had its shop cost increased
- Significantly increased the cooldown of Spatial Sickness
- Empty Coffers now has a non-guaranteed chance to open chests
- Aegis blocks slightly more damage when it is activated
- Hungry Ghost now heals for 0.5% of the peasant’s max HP instead of 1 (it now scales, but has the same basement value)
- Lowered the number of Scale Tunnels that spawn during the Toadvine and Bathcat fight between the Halls and Caverns
- Troll Sweat now heals for 4 HP/s over 15 seconds rather than 2 HP/s over 30 seconds
- It is now more difficult to discover Sho’guul for a second or third time (still possible though)
- Inverter is now a rare relic and no longer available in the shop
- Increased the chance to discover Kurtz and the dogs
Other Changes:
- Ground fire once again ignites the thrown pickaxe
- Fixed reflection offsets for spikes
- Kurtz’ Stache can only be found after the player has completed 5 runs
- Added a sound for when Prayer Altars are destroyed
- Can no longer peep Toadvine and Bathcat’s health in the prisoner encounter
- Added more redundancy to help protect save files when the client is closed unexpectedly
- Noori and Mortar now drop boss specific recipes. These can be found in their respective rooms if they have already been defeated for the first time
- Battle Standard now has a sound when entering the room
- Ponzu’s arena now has a proper name
- The curse UI tray now extends further to the right
- Black Rabbit now drops the Lucky Charm blueprint when you first meet her
