[FULL SEASON SPOILERS] I feel like everyone's powers are underutilized or just used in the dumbest ways. Like in the last episode when Luther waltzes in and picks up the Guardian and then drops him and he's just out like a light for like a full minute after the rest of them fought their asses off to defeat him?

Allison could have very very easily used her powers on the Sparrows but they kept stopping her and then there was absolutely ZERO pay off on Harlan dying and his powers being transferred into Viktor and Allison. Like why show off Allison's new power of not having to say "I heard a rumor" if it doesn't even work in the end?? Harlan's death meant nothing and it was just a senseless act on Allison's part (I don't care about her grief at this point with how unbearable the writers made her).

Why did Ben wait until the last second to even try to use his powers only to have his tentacles sliced in 2 seconds?

Where was the explanation of any kind on how Luther and Klaus actually made it into the Hotel again after dying? And why show off how fast Klaus can come back to life if it doesn't even matter in the end when they could have spent the time developing the other world where Klaus ends up after he dies and showing how he finds his way back to life?

All in all I just feel like they spent so much writing on dialogue and overextended scenes when they could've had something more productive happen. I don't care about the budget of the show or Covid setbacks when they could have just waited another year instead of handing us a pile of garbage on a plate and telling us to enjoy. I finished the season and was highly dissatisfied at what I saw. I absolutely loved the first 2 seasons and despite the horrible advertising for this season and finding out it was being released ONE day before it came to netflix, I still watched it as fast as I could and by episode 5 I was ready for it to be over.

This season was almost unbearably bad and cringeworthy and I would've honestly enjoyed it if that's how it was from the beginning of the show but it feels like they pulled a Riverdale this time around but with full seriousness and sincerity hoping we wouldn't see the shit they handed to us.

The thing I enjoyed the most about this season was the way the Umbrella Academy accepted Viktor but in the end it didn't even matter because even after giving him the talks of "you're loved" they all cast him aside and act like he's overreacting and letting Allison treat him like shit. Personally I found Luther's character to be unlikable in the first 2 seasons but now he's one of my favorites because he's at least consistent in his mediocrity and love towards Viktor.

Shoutout to the actors for doing the best with what they were given.

[Edit] I also feel like the Hotel was just horrible writing when they never actually explain the significance of White Buffalo like I understand it led them to Oblivion or whatever but what does it mean? And the fact that they were just like yeah Reggie's an alien and he kills Luther but hey! it doesn't matter because he's dead now, look at his green alien blood! And what the hell is the dimension machine made by the creator of the world? It doesn't really matter at this point if they're saving it for next season because it doesn't even feel like a cliffhanger it just feels like a loose end and I don't care if it gets tied up at this point. Last season had me wanting more but this season just made me say "I hope Klaus gets his own spin off!"
