Can we just talk about how true of a villain The Conductor is in the comics?
Post Body

He knows how exactly how to play Vanya. He knows she'll come back to him, and when she does, he doesn't transform her into The White Violin on HER terms. He does it on his. Completely brainwashing her and forcing the change that she wouldn't have allowed herself to overcome otherwise.

Finally, when he tells her to go ahead and do what she was born to do, it really feels like he knows she is about to kill him, and he's just in awe of the dangerous beauty he's created, knowing the world is going to end because of him. It very much feels like he's dying as happy as he possibly could.

He just feels like a very pure villain to me.
