I have a decent sleep system rated to 0F / -18C, and have been ok down to about 21F/-6C so far. I'd like to extend my season a bit more, though I'll still choose to avoid true deep winter Canadian camping or alpine camping for now.
My ultralight tent (Big Agnes Tiger Wall 2) is an all-mesh inner. Overnight I felt a slight breeze come in and it was cold cold air. I was fine, but also wondering if still air, based on a cheaper Amazon 4-season tent with solid inner, would be worth it.
I see the OneTigris Stella for $250 CAD, or even cheaper solid wall tents around $130CAD. I won't be going too many miles, so don't mind 4-6 lbs. Not interested in high end $700 tents for now.
Would like your thoughts, do you have one and was it worth it to you?
