Just how small can you go?

Post Body

I would consider myself a lightweight backpacker. My pack weight is around 10kg for UK winter and thatā€™s with a 65litre Zpacks archaul. But it got me thinking. How little of a pack could you get away with for summer conditions? Iā€™ve just bought a gossamer gear minimalist for travel and am patiently waiting for it to be delivered but got to thinking, ā€œcould I fit a basic wild camping set up in this?ā€ Does anyone have any experience with extremely small set ups? For me Iā€™d still want a fully enclosed tent so any pictures from anyone elseā€™s set up would be great. Iā€™ll check back when the pack arrives and let you know what I actually managed to fit in.
