I love my GG The One, but its vulnerability to condensation made me miserable on a GDT section hike last year. This year I came back with a secret weapon: the Sea to Summit Nano Pyramid Net.
On 100% humidity nights (almost all of them), I clipped this to the inside apex of my tent, and to keep it spread out I tucked the material under dense objects like battery banks at the four corners. Voila, a re-invented double-wall tent. Everything I kept inside the netting stayed dry despite the dew raining down all night. Plus it was a little warmer inside the net than outside it.
At just 2.5 oz (after removing the stretchy hanging cord), I would bring this on any trip where I expected hard rain or fog!
