Oops.
I was washing my quilt when a baffled snagged on the drain plug and tore open about 1". I would assume I can't machine dry it like this, and also that I can't patch it wet. Is my best option to lay it out on a table with some fans pointed at it until it dries, then try to patch it and machine dry after to redistribute down?
This was also before I got the rinsing step (nikwax down wash direct), is there any chance of damaging the down by leaving that in while it dries, then rinsing it out again after patching?
I emailed the company (EE) already but won't hear back until Monday morning so if anyone has any ideas I'm all ears!
