LiteAF Shoulder Straps and Peak Clip

Anyone using a Peak Clip on thier LiteAF Pack? Since the straps are 3" wide, and the Peak clip only goes up to 2.5" I don't think it will work very well? I guess you maybe could "squeeze/scrunch up" the strap, but I don't now how well that would actually work and wonder if it might damage the strap over time as well. I do see several "off brand" copies of the Peak clip, but the largest I could find was 2.75" strap opening, and it has sketch reviews in general anyway.
Anyone have an options/ideas?
