I have been using a Snow Peak 700, but it's getting kinda old and beat up so thought I would try one of the new ultralight Toaks pots... the 550 seems a bit small so went with the 650. However, my Windmaster will not fit horizontally in the pot (ie a 110 cannister and stove laying on top) it's a smidge too long. I also have an Amicus which does fit, but prefer the Windmaster for the regulator and it's actually a bit lightet than the Amicus.
Then I saw a YT video of a guy with the Toaks 750, which he says the Windmaster does fit. Now I thought all the 95mm series were the same size, but hey maybe the 750 is a bit wider at the top so I ordered one. Well, same as the 650, the stove won't fit. I mean, I could force it in there I guess, but not sure if that would damage burner/stove over time...
Anyway, just wondering if I got an out of spec Windmaster maybe, or maybe older Windmasters are longer (well, taller I guess), etc... Anyone else using the Windmaster and able to fit it sideways in the Toaks 550/650/750 95mm series?
PS, as an aside, the Toaks 750 and Snow Peak 700 appear to be bascially the same volume. I suppose different companies rate/measure differently... Toaks volumes appear to be "to the rim" measurement gaining that extra 50ml label.
