Post Body

My partner and I (6’3”) are looking for the right tent to start with to go hiking in the Pyrenees. The Mongar 2 proved to be too tight in length (ended up being 10cm shorter than what is described online) and width when we set it up at home . I’m thinking that since we are going together we can get something bigger/heavier and divide the weight

I’ve narrowed down my choices to two tents:

Tungsten 3p: - 400 eur due to import fees - 90” or 225cm long - 2.8kg and 7”x23” in packing size

Forclaz mt900 3p dome: - 380 eur - 80” or 205cm long (might be too short) - warranty of 5 years -2.8kg and 7x18” in packing size

I’m leaning towards the longer Tungsten. DAE know if the length is true in size and if it’s good for tall people in general?

Is it a good entry level trekking tent for a couple at this price?
