Post Body

Wow sorry for long title... looking to get all my electronics on USB-C. Last item I have is my Sony camera battery charger which is micro-usb still (but, very, very light :). So, looking at the nice double/triple battery charging cases... there are "powered" versions and non powered versions that charge off an external power bank like a Anker 10000mah, etc. I like the multi battery charger option, can just place several batteries in it at camp, and let it do it's thing, so need to keep checking and swapping batteries, etc.

is there a preference? I see a two battery charger with built in 5200mah charger at 6.7oz, or a three bank non-powered charger at 3.8oz. So you are bascially getting a 5000mah power bank for 3oz, essentially. I typically carry a Anker powercore 10Kmah power brick already (haven't ponied up for a NiteCore...yet lol), so was leaning towards the "un-powered" ligher version, but was wondering if anyone is using powered chargers (I know some headphones come in small power charging cases) and the pros and cons of them...
