Just picked up a pyraomm duo (similar to duomid), but it had no guylines attached. There are lineloc lites on each corner, and I have 100' of 2mm ironwire to attach.
What's the right of length for each tie-out to balance having flexibility to tie it down in rough ground conditions vs. not a massive footprint area?
Also open to ideas on making it more flexible by using either separate guyline sets to extend them, accounting for little/big rock setups in places with crap soil (iceland), and more.
- 4 corners (3 feet? more?)
- apex (probably needs to be pretty long - 8ft?)
- door tieouts
- any other side panel tieouts
I could debate not using the linelocs at all but I like the simplicity in using them for tightening, particularly in cold/wet conditions. Maybe if they break I'll move to just a bowline knot on the tieouts loops.
