Does anyone have access or tips on higher quality Caltopo map for the dolomites? I have purchased a single digital Tobacco map quadrant to test and it's just alright. Hiiker app has a really high quality Fraternali map (but no legend).
I have (1) night planned to stay in biovacco Walter Bodo, curious is anyone has feedback on what to expect. I will have a liner and will plan to bring food to eat at night.
Showa gloves are a last-minute rain forecast item. Frogg Togg's are going, I have been in the high Sierra's for a rainstorm and don't want to experience that again without rain gear. I am averaging 10miles/4k a day and want to hike continuously (when possible).
First time using Refugio's, the sleep mask and earplugs are non-negotiable. Anyone feel strange dinning in 60GSM alpha? lol
Lunch is the big question, I snack for this meal and don't want to wait, pay or eat a sit-down lunch. I am either going to bring peanut butter/tortillas for lunch or hope I can buy a sandwich to go each day.
Ferrata gear as I am a father, and it opens the option to more direct routes or the potential for alternates if time allows.
Organizing a guide for the potential to summit Marmolada via Punta Penia and exit via Forcella Marmolada (alternates also included in the Caltopo map).
