I just tried out the UL Flicker, which is excellent in so many ways. But last night I experienced a catastrophic zipper snag. I’ve had the zipper snag before on bags and jackets. And some pretty bad ones. But last night, the second I tried to gently get it done it just started eating the 10d fabric and got so stuck that I couldn’t zip it fully closed. Now feathers are leaking.

I love Feathered Friends. I don’t think many companies are at their level or close. But I’m just trying to figure out has something changed in recent years? I’ve noticed the stuff sacks they send are such low quality too. So I’m kind of starting to think (I could be way wrong) they are cutting costs on the hardware of their products.

Anyone else experience this lately? Also, forgive me if this isn’t outright “Gear Review” but trying to share my experience and get feedback. Again, FF is awesome, I’m just a little confused, or over the years have forgot how to get a zipper unsnagged.
