Hey all !

I just finished thru-hiking Te Araroa in New-Zealand 2 weeks ago, and next week we're going to start the PCT. But, still struggling with my sleeping system๐Ÿ˜‚. On Te Araroa, there are a lot of huts with bunks, and holiday parks with cheap cabins :).

After 20 years competitive badminton, my schoulder limits my comfy sleeping position a lot. I have to keep my chest/schoulder's open (for example : hands under pillow or hand hanging from bed๐Ÿ˜‚). Impossible to keep my elbows in the sleepin bag in this position because too narrow (even wide sleeping bag is not enough), but then my arms gets too cold. I end up putting them back in the sleeping bag and then starts a twisting and turning party, where I move every 5-10minutes.

Anyone has an idea of how I could be comfy on the PCT? I'm sure I'm not enjoying the thru-hikes fully because of my bad sleep...

Actual sleep system : - Durston X-Mid2 Pro - Nemo Switchback - Mount Trail Wide/Long Sleeping bag - Pillow = Puffy in dry-bag Merinos buff around (super comfy)

Thanks for the help and... Happy trails ! :)

My Thermarest NeoAir X-Lite is also an option, but I don't think it would make a difference...
