In May of last year, I hiked Buckskin Gulch to Lee's Ferry and used Water Wizard dilution according to this @Jimpflugrath6220 video.
My first use was 1 mile south of last reliable spring, water was greyish. Added WW to CNOC and 30 minutes later had amazing results, nearly clear water.
Second use was the next morning. Water levels were noticeably lower, and the water looked exactly like clay paint. Added the same amount of WW and had it had no effect after 1hr. Added a second dose, waited an additional 45 minutes and was shocked that it had no noticeable effect.
Paria water level decreased to nearly dry at Lee's Ferry. Those last 11 miles with just 1 liter of water (which I had only by luck) were brutal and I don't want to be in that position again.
How much Water Wizard can you add before it becomes unsafe to consume?
Does Water Wizard fail/lose effectiveness in water that is thick with clay?
