A Working (Wo)Man's Ultralight Gear List
Post Body

https://lighterpack.com/r/kimt8i

With the help from some friends on here, I put together something that may be helpful for people on this sub, or other folks outside of this sub who are UL-curious, but don't want to bother with the cheapest of cheap, and can't stomach the cash for the higher end gear. This list falls in the middle, and strikes a balance.

I assume people will get fired up in the comments. This list is tricky and my personal preferences shine through. I have weighted heavily that this list is for someone not yet committed to the dark arts of UL and doesn't frequent the backcountry. Certain comforts and preferences common of that breed are listed. At the end of the day, I at least hope someone might learn about a new gear source to help get them get out there exploring this season.

Take a moment to read the address/description at the beginning of the lighterpack link prior to commenting to get an idea of where my head was when making this list. I am fully open to making any logical changes that may override what is suggested here.

Hope to see you out there!

EDIT: I upgraded the pad to an xlite… there’s just no good way around it that’s worth it. For the buyer it may be the toughest pill to swallow.
