Playing around with DIY UL sandals
Post Body

AT NOBO ‘21 here prepping for a Colorado Trail thru this summer. I’m an east coast Appalachians hiker and have been trying to figure out how to dump camp shoes. The only hesitation is hostel and bath house showers. Played around with some weight room floor tiles purchased at the local big box hardware store and some cordage. I’ve made a few pairs of these before. They tend to last through one-ish hiking season. End result of today’s design is 2.7oz/78g shower sandals! Fun waste of time for a couple hours on a Saturday. Cheers!

Edit: Updated to 78 grams. I’m terrible at metric…
