Been burned a few times with lightweight pillows from the likes of Trekology or Sea to Summit. They start losing air as soon as 2 months from purchase and won't hold air overnight after 6 months. After a year it will work for maybe an hour then go flat. The fabric is treated with an airtight coating sprayed on, however there is localized delamination leading to many small air holes. The leak is inaudible. The problem is exacerbated by rolling and unrolling the fabric.
Is there a better alternative on the market? I think the Trekology size and profile is good and they work great slightly under-inflated. Looking for an alternative that isn't so easily prone to failure because it really feels like a disposable waste problem by continuing to buy and support these products.
