Hey everyone, this year I'm finally planning on going on a 14-day long hike along the Kungsleden. It's my first UL-adventure, I have lots of experience in hiking in the alps, but slept there everytime in mountain huts. I'm also experienced with camping, but so far mostly on bike tours or short weekend trips. It would be nice if I'm able to reduce my baseweight to sub 6kg, but just for the sake of it.
I'm a bit unsure about an optimum pant setup. Will a Patagonia Terrebonne Jogger in combination with a pair of leggings and optional for windy days a rain skirt be enough temperature wise? Or should I buy an additional wind pants?
Is a windjacket necessary? I expect that a combination of my alpha direct hoody and the montbell versalite will be good as well, but then I'm a bit concerned if the versalite will start to delaminate if I wear it often in combination with a backpack.
Thanks for your feedback!
Location/temp range/specific trip description: Kungsleden, Northern Sweden in August, so weather ranging from 20°C to -5°C
Budget: willing to spend up to 500€
Non-negotiable Items: I don't want to buy down feather based stuff, so only synthetic insulation. Also, as my ankles aren't the best anymore, I'm unsure if changing to much less heavy trail runner style shoes will result in an immediate sprained ankle.
Solo or with another person?: we'll be a group of 6 in total
Additional Information: see above
